The seawater desalination project of Hebei Fengyue Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is located in Lingang Economic Development Zone, Fengnan District, Tangshan City (in the courtyard of Fengnan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. of Hebei Zongheng Group). The environmental impact report form was approved by the Fengnan District Branch of Tangshan Ecological Environment Bureau on April 24, 2020 (Fenghuan Table [2020] No. 37). The main construction contents of the project are: 6-effect low-temperature multi-effect (MED) thermal seawater desalination scheme using hot water flash evaporation, the material water is fed by advectionway, the material water system is equipped with a 4-effect regenerative heater, and the fresh water output is 25000 tons/day. The membrane seawater desalination scheme adopts the pretreatment reverse osmosis process, and the fresh water output is 125000 tons/day. The main production facilities, the environmental protection facilities required by the EIA documents and the approval were completed on August 11, 2020, and the sewage permit has been obtained, with the certificate number 91130282MA08BYM900001U.
